(Philadelphia) Inspired by the Walnut Room's 5th year anniversary celebration, visual artist Rah Crawford will photograph the evening as reference for his next painting. The people, place and memory will be immortalized as a work of fine art.

The artist's connection to the Walnut Room dates back to the beginning of the lounge's opening. Serving as host for several of his special events and exhibitions, the Walnut Room has been Crawford's launch pad of choice before bounding across the Atlantic for international exhibitions.

Inspired by a relationship that has spanned half a decade, Rah Crawford will now focus a creative eye on his likely muse -the Walnut Room venue. Offering the delectable fruit of immortality, friends are invited to gather on Sunday March 28th, the last day of the Walnut Room's 5 day celebration. Rah will photograph the social atmosphere as reference for his new painting. The completed artwork will be revealed the following month in April.
