The W2Earth Collection

NEW YORK, New York -- A total of 6 new pattern designs by visual artist Rah Crawford are now available on the NO MUSE NO ART online store. The Welcome to Earth (W2Earth) period (2004 - 2016) was a pivotal creative time for the artist as he introduced a new approach to art called NPIC-Art, which uses the definition of words to add a new contextual layer to an image. A curated collection of Crawford’s iconic artworks have been redesigned as wearable art—a printed retrospective of work from his earlier creative period. The Famous Faces designs include multi-layered portraits of legendary pop icons such as Frida Kahlo, Andy Warhol, Johnny Cash and others. The Unbound designs consist of a variety of animals and wildlife overlayed into an intricate detailed pattern.

An accomplished artist, the shoes Rah Crawford used to wear while painting are displayed in the permanent collection at the S.O.N.S. Museum in Belgium. In the United States, his work has been auctioned for the Young Benefactors of the Smithsonian Museum, and ABC News reported: “Rah Crawford has arrived on the art scene and is helping to change the face of contemporary art”. Arthistoryarchive.com includes Rah Crawford on the short list of 17 neo-pop artists whose work defines the genre, alongside Keith Haring, Damien Hirst and Jeff Koons.

The W2Earth Collection of patterns are currently available on fashion apparel tees, a canvas tote as well as a 17” throw pillow for the stylish contemporary home.
